Snowberry Drive is a single family home in West Vail that sits on a sloping wooded hillside. The homeowners wanted to be able to enjoy the beautiful mountain views year round. With that in mind, Beth and her team focused on large decks and large windows. The decks are expansive and wrap around a majority of the home. Constructed with large log beams and natural stone the deck feels like a part of the surrounding forest.
The many windows let in an abundance of natural light year round and highlight the breathtaking mountain views. The clerestory windows in the center of the house create both a focus and wonderful light. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all flow into each other creating unity within the home. A natural stone fireplace, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops make this single family home feel like a luxurious cabin in the woods. The natural wood log accents, wood floors, and wood cabinets successfully blend the interior of the home with the expansive forest right outside.
